Sea Lion Caves is a privately owned wildlife preserve and bird sanctuary located on the Central Oregon Coast. There is an elevator that takes you down to the caves where you can view the Sea Lions in the natural habitat. They are wild animals, so they come and go as they please. In the summer you can generally se them out on the rocka, breeding, birthing, and congregating. During the winter and spring they tend to be inside the cave. Many other species are there as well including bats, harbor seals, bald eagles, red-tail hawks, peregrine falcons, and many types of seabirds. You can also spot gray whales, Orcas, or humpback whales during their northern migration.
